Florida Parking & Transportation Association appoints DCM Management

Jacksonville, FL | April 2, 2020 – The Florida Parking and Transportation Association (FPTA) has brought on industry events consultant Dawn Marti to step into the role as Association and Events Manager. Marti and her team will be responsible for managing the association administrative and event duties on the organization’s behalf. Established in 1979, Florida Parking and Transportation Association was established to provide a statewide association to promote and represent the parking and transportation industry in the state of Florida. Long recognized as one of the largest and most successful state parking associations in the nation, FPTA provides connections, resources and networking opportunities for its members and other industry professionals. 

Marti is the owner of DCM Management, formerly Newman Concepts, a conference planning and association management firm based in Columbia, MD. Her firm oversees administrative and event planning for many of the industry’s state and regional parking associations including Middle Atlantic Parking Association, New England Parking Council, Parking Association of the Virginia’s, Pennsylvania Parking Association, Southwest Parking and Transportation Association, Washington Parking Association, New York State Parking and Transportation, Mid-South Transportation and Parking Association and the Ohio Parking Association. Additionally, Marti acts as liaison to the International Parking and Mobility Institute and the National Parking Association on behalf of the now ten state and regional associations that her company currently manages.

During Marti’s tenure she will be responsible for coordinating all networking events and tradeshow activities for FPTA. She will also manage the membership, website, social media and the day to day operations of the association. 

In accepting the role, Marti commented that “I am excited and honored to work with the Florida Parking and Transportation Association in this new role. I look forward to contributing my skills and expertise to promote FPTA and make the positive changes that will mean growth for the association.”
