Dawn C. Marti, President and Owner

Dawn (Newman) Marti founded her company DCM Management, previously Newman Concepts, a conference planning, and association management firm in 1998. In her 25+ year career, Dawn has worked in risk management, the hotel industry as a wedding planner, catering and sales manager, in the parking, transportation, and mobility industry, and in the world of associations. She is an expert in association and event management and provides these services to associations nationally, managing large and small conferences, trade shows, golf tournaments, educational forums, webinars, and training events.

At DCM Management, Dawn and her team provide association management, communications, conference, and event planning services to over ten associations and private industry companies. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from the University of Maryland and her passion for interior design sent her back to school to earn an Associates of Arts degree in that discipline from Montgomery College. Dawn has a love for travel, the beach, and throwing many a social soirée with her husband Chris.

Jessica Layton

Events Assistant

Jessica (Jess) is a recent 2023 graduate of Marymount University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and minor in Marketing. She joined the DCM team as an intern event planner and assistant to Dawn in the winter of 2022. She’s proven to be an asset to the team as her creative marketing eye and attention to event details has become essential. In the spring of 2023, Jess was offered the permanent position of event assistant. She is an excellent writer and has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Megan Leinart,

Communications and Marketing

Megan Leinart, LEED AP BD+C, CAPP has over 14 years of experience providing marketing services at all levels. In addition to her marketing background, Megan has the extensive technical expertise necessary to take a professional services marketing program to the next level. Several years ago, she formed Leinart Consulting, a professional services marketing and consulting firm, specializing in the parking, commercial real estate, and professional services industries. Dawn Marti has known Megan professionally for 10 years and when it became time to look for an expert in communications and marketing the choice was clear! DCM Management and our clients see clear consistent messaging because Megan is at the helm.

Heather Matthews, CAPP, PMP

Web Design and Development

DCM Management contracted with Heather Matthews and Savvy Gal Technical Solutions to head Web Design Operations, bringing over 10 years of IT professional experience to the DCM team. Heather started Savvy Gal Technical Solutions in 2017, designing websites and offering technical consulting to companies. Matthews holds a B. A. in English with a focus on technical writing from NYIT and is currently completing her Masters in Urban Planning. She holds several certificates in technology, leadership as well as marketing. Her work with the Women in Parking Board, where she managed the website, helped fuel her passion to help women start their own businesses and become self-sufficient. Heather has a flair for web design and an eye for photography. She is extremely tech-savvy which makes her an asset to DCM Management. Some of Heather’s projects include the NEPC Website and SWPTA Website.
